New Cut-True 28A Automatic Programmable Guillotine Cutter

Dover, NH: Formax is pleased to introduce the Cut-True 28A Automatic Programmable Guillotine Cutter. It’s an ideal solution for on-demand digital print shops and in-plant operations. Standard features include a color touchscreen control panel, high-speed hardened steel blade, LED cutting line for accuracy, an all-metal stand with storage shelf, and a variety of safety features.

The Cut-True 28A offers precision cutting for sheets up to 18.9” wide, and up to 3.15” high. The touchscreen control panel is intuitive and allows users to program up to 99 jobs, with up to 30 cuts each. Adjusting the back gauge is simplified by using the control panel or the electronic hand wheel for fine tuning. Dual-button operation engages both the automatic clamp and the hardened steel blade.

For safety and convenience, the Cut-True 28A has an infrared light beam safety curtain which shuts down operation when the light plane is interrupted. For accuracy, the 28A has an LED cutting line which allows operators to make fine adjustments and see exactly where the blade will cut.

Safety features include a wooden paper push for safe alignment, transparent rear cover, blade lock, external blade depth adjustment, and easy blade change access from the front of the cutter utilizing the blade change safety tool.
