Formax ReadyWire Premium Electric punching and binding systems deliver the speed and convenience of electric punching.
Two models are available: ReadyWire2E with a 2:1 pitch, and ReadyWire3E with a 3:1 pitch. Each pitch style (2:1 and 3:1) produces professionally bound booklets, with the 2:1 pitch having an advantage in its versatility to accommodate a wide range of wire bindings from 1/4” to 1 1/2” in diameter, for booklets up to 340 sheets.
With rugged all-metal construction and simple foot-pedal electric operation, they’re built to last, and designed for easy use. The precision vertical punching system utilizes gravity to keep every sheet in place, for consistent hole placement even on larger document sets. Setup is quick and easy with no tools required. Punch pins are easy to access and can be individually disengaged to prevent partially punched holes. The integrated wire holding device assists in the ergonomic flow from punching to binding.
ReadyWire2E punches up to 16,000 sheets per hour, binding up to 340 sheets, with wire diameters up to 1 1/2″.
ReadyWire3E punches up to 16,000 sheets per hour, binding up to 135 sheets, with wire diameters up to 5/8″.
Wire-bound documents open a full 360 degrees, laying flat for easier reading, writing, scanning, and presentations, and the double-loop wire binding keeps pages secure for a polished appearance through years of use.
Formax ReadyWire double-loop binding is packaged in patented wire sheets to keep them organized, undamaged and easy to remove. Available in diameters from 1/4″ to 1 1/2″, they’re thicker than the industry standard, and designed to close in a perfect circle.
